Saryan String Quartet performed within Grigor Yeghiazaryan-Fest


The Armenian State Symphony Orchestra Saryan String Quartet performed with a chamber concert within the framework of the 9th Armenian Composers’ Art Festival.

During the concert held at Komitas Museum-Institute the collective of the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra (Erik Manukyan (1st violin), Ani Adikyan (2nd violin),Yelena Hayrapetyan (viola), Davit Pichikyan (cello) presented compositions by Vardan Ajemian, Martin Vardazaryan, Stepan Lusikyan, Martin Ulikhanyan.

The debut of the Saryan String Quartet was held in 2016 and has acclaimed the warm greetings of the audience. Due to a high level of musicians performing mastery and the wide multi-genre repertoire of chamber pieces the quartet has managed to gain popularity within a rather short period of time. The ensemble is successfully performing with different concerts. It has already participated in a number of festivals and musical events.

This year the 9th Armenian Composers’ Art Festival is dedicated to 110th anniversary of renowned Armenian composer Grigor Yeghiazaryan. The organizer of the festival is the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra. The initiative is of high interests of the RA Ministry of Culture and is held under the sponsorship of the ministry. Since its foundation the Armenian Composers’ Art Festival is held under the high patronage of the President of RA Serzh Sargsyan.
