June 1, 2008 was marked by a start of a new cooperation for the State Youth Orchestra of Armenia.
On May 30, 2008 Yerevan was over again painted with bright colors of its traditional classical music feast Aram Khachaturian International Competition.
On April 21, 2008 the gala concert of the music festival, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Yerevan State Komitas Conservatory took place at Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall.
On February 12, 2008 the State Youth Orchestra of Armenia performed at Bolshoi Hall of Tchaikovsky Conservatory becoming a part of a prominent music event.
From October 22 to 28, 2007 within the frameworks of Armenian-Belarusian cultural cooperation the “Days of Armenian Culture” were held in Belarus.
In 2007 the German capital hosted already traditional festival of the world best youth orchestras Young.Euro.Classic.
In 340 cities of 110 countries all around the world June 21 is celebrated as World Music Day.
On May 30, 2007 Aram Khachaturian International Piano Competition was held for the second time at Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall.
On April 24 Al. Spendiaryan National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater was full of audience. The concert evening entitled “Nothing, no one is forgotten” was dedicated to the sacred memory of victims of Armenian Genocide.
On December 19, 2006, despite the cold December weather, a warm atmosphere reigned at Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall – it was crowded, but the great number of audience was still standing at the entrance.
